LawGroup UK assists members with their professional indemnity insurance renewals by providing information on the state of the market and by harnessing its associations with FSA authorised and regulated specialists to achieve competitive terms for member firms.

Since the move to the open market, we have worked closely with major brokers and insurers to develop our scheme aimed at obtaining the lowest possible premiums. Being a Solicitors’ group rather than a traditional broker has assisted us greatly in developing our relationships. Each year our influence in this market has grown, giving many of our member firms significant savings on their Professional Indemnity costs.

These savings are based on the volumes of business we introduce to insurers, together with our established and public commitment to quality which is a key factor for insurers.

Unlike the major brokers we have not tied ourselves to any exclusive deals and are entirely independent thereby being able to provide access to options based on what is best for your firm.

Our proposal form has been designed in consultation with the major insurers to enable quotations to be optained from insurers via the use of a single form.
